Where is the rain when you need it?
The dry spell that is being experienced throughout Texas is going to cause a decline in beautiful blooms this spring. This issue was first brought up by DallasNews.com late last month but the conditions have continued. The drought is not only bad news for lawns and private gardens but the vivid wildflowers that should pop up later this year will likely see at least a small decline.
What is Texas (and Dallas for that matter) in the spring without a colorful array of wild flowers lighting up the state? Just "urban cowboys", pick up trucks, and guns - and who is looking forward to that?
We might all get a pleasant surprise though so let's try and keep positive thoughts, and I guess it wouldn't hurt to do a rain dance or two.
